  • To possess good communication and written skills.
  • To be friendly and flexible.
  • To be honest and trustworthy.
  • To have at least one years' experience of providing direct hands on care in a health or social care setting. If not, training is available during our induction programme.
  • To have the ability to work on your own and as part of the Care Quest team.
  • To work in a manner which respects the confidentiality of the client.
Tasks to be undertaken:
Daily visits
Assistance with personal hygiene and bathing
Dressing and undressing
Assistance with medication
Meal preparation
Getting up and going to bed
Personal shopping

Night Sleeping Service
Live in and waking night care
Respite and Holiday Service
Companionship


Tasks to be undertaken
Basics can include: General house cleaning duties
  • To possess good communication skills.

  • To work in a manner which respects the confidentiality of the client.
Care Quest expects all Domestic workers;
  • Dust all areas of the home.
  • Hoover all areas of the home.
  • Clean all areas of the bathroom.
  • Clean all floors.
  • Wipe all fixtures & appliances.
  • Wipe all mirrors & pictures.
  • Personal laundry and ironing.
Not Included;
  • Cleaning around clutter.
  • Cleaning bodily waste.
  • Cleaning inside refrigerator/stove/cabinets.
  • Moving furniture to access areas.
  • Reaching high areas (above foot stool reach)
  • Windows inside/outside.


Care Quest expects all Handyperson workers;
  • To possess good communication skills.

  • To have the ability to work on your own and as part of the Care Quest team.
  • To work in a manner which respects the confidentiality of the client.
Tasks to be undertaken for the benefit and safety of staff and clients;
To deal with small, general items of repair and maintenance in the interior of the home, e.g.
Putting up shelves, changing light bulbs, repair a dripping tap, moving furniture, cleaning lamp shades, cleaning windows.
Maintaining an environment that is safe, tidy and beneficial for those individuals living at the residence.
Care and maintenance of the garden including weeding, planting, pruning and watering when appropriate.
Care of the garden machinery, and/or general tools, and ladder and steps maintenance with due regard to Health and Safety requirements.
Liaise with the Manager and/or senior staff and record in the appropriate books any problems requiring specialist attention.
